When curator Laura Green invited me to exhibit in the Natural World, the theme brought to my mind our complex relationship with nature – the beauty of nature alongside instability. I wanted to create altered landscapes that seemed familiar but also felt impossibly strange.
The Studio Door Gallery is in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego. The show is curated by Laura Green & Pierre Bounard featuring ceramic, glass, and paintings.
