Mixed Media

My opposition to tossing odd scraps and ends of paper cuts led to this mixed media work. The process to make these paper shapes includes blending the paper to pulp and forming small pods. I wet, curl, paint, shape, burn, and wrap in wire to transform the overlooked and discarded.  This process led me to create 3 D objects using upcycled objects and detritus.
